Bought these for a backyard wedding. I wanted a classy looking, disposable, plastic free option and these don't disappoint. My first thought upon inspection was that they were flimsy (on the thinner side). I was nervous it wasn't going to work for my buffet dinner, so I put them to the test!! The night I received these plates I heated water in my kettle (175°F), poured it hot onto the plate and let it sit for about an hour.. the plate did NOT become soggy or start to dissolve. To test it even further, after I let it sit with the water, I then served my hot dinner on the same plate. I was so surprised it held up so well. I ended up purchasing a few extras because I assume some people will double up on the plate after they feel it..but I promise it's not necessary too unless you're overloading your plate. Shipping was fast and everything was packaged nicely so nothing came damaged.
